Kenwood’s Fall Festival Is Just Around the Corner!

October 15, 2009

Kenwood’s 2009 Fall Festival will be on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.  This year, we will be raising money to fund a mission trip that members of the congregation will take to Appalachia in 2010.  There are a wide variety of ways you can participate:

Volunteer the day of the festival to be a greeter, a cashier, a seller or a game attendant
Donate baked goods
Donate a themed Bountiful Basket for the Bountiful Basket Auction
Put a yard sign in your yard the week before to advertise the festival
Volunteer to put flyers in mailboxes two weeks before.

We will be selling Snow White Inn Barbecue by the plate, Brunswick Stew made by the Ruritan Club by the quart, having a silent auction for Bountiful Baskets, and free activities for children.  IVNA will also be at the church giving flu shots.

Join us on November 7!  To volunteer, please click here to e-mail the church office.
