The Hinton Team arrived safely on Sunday afternoon with time to unpack and settle in before orientation. The veterans were glad to introduce the new team members to Lake Chatague and the view from the porch. We have learned that we will be in one large team tomorrow, possibly splitting up later in the week. We will be building a ramp, powerwashing and painting a house, staining a porch, and other tasks that emerge. We are looking forward to getting to work.

Sunday Morning Schedule Will Change, May 29
May 18, 2011After a period of discernment and feedback, Kenwood’s Church Council has decided to change our Sunday morning schedule.
Beginning Sunday, May 29, we will worship at 10:00 am and then we will have small groups for all ages at 11:15 am. Church Council has agreed to try this approach for the next several months and evaluate this shift in schedule at the end of the year. Please note that this is not a summer worship schedule, but a permanent change which will continue into the fall.
